FABRICS
100% cotton is advisable as it is easy to cut, sew and holds a crisp fold.
Hand dyes, splotchy, blends, textured, tone on tone and small scaled prints work well with this design.  For example, Fossil fern, Moda marble and Batiks.
A variety of pattern, scale, intensity and value in your fabric collection will make your quilt look interesting.

20 cms each of 12 fabrics of assorted colours

LINK FABRIC
This is the fabric that links all the colours together to create unity.  Darker valued fabrics work the best such as black, charcoal grey, navy, bottle green etc.

2.5metres of homespun or similar type of fabric mentioned above.

Borders and bindings are included in the 2.5metre length of fabric.
