WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
A fun and easy class using the rotary cutter and simple strip piecing to create the extended form of the ancient fret or Greek key pattern.  An individual quilt of 25 or 16, 10 inch blocks will be commenced in this one-day workshop

REQUIREMENT LIST

Sewing machine in good working order and spare needle. (Please check that you have packed the foot with the machine.)
Thread to match the medium value of the fabrics
Fabric scissors
Pins
Rotary cutter, mat and ruler.  A small flannel sheet to be used as a design wall

FABRIC
100% cotton is advisable as it is easy to cut, sew, and holds a crisp fold.  Please consider the pattern, scale, and value of your fabrics when you select them.

You will require 30cms of 12 fabrics selvage to selvage.
From each fabric cut 7 x 4 cm (1½ inches) strips from selvage to selvage. This will save valuable class time.

Extra fabric will be required for borders and bindings.
