HOW TO CREATE A REALISTIC LANDSCAPE QUILT

SKILL LEVEL AND TIME FRAME
Suitable for all levels.
2 Days

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION.
If you have ever wondered why some quilt makers can create realistic landscape quilts then this two day workshop is for you.
A folder of eighteen pages will be developed where students will work through and glue into their folder nineteen exercises that relate to the basic elements of design and, in particular, concentrate upon the illusions of depth and perspective and how they relate to landscape quilts.
All fabric and designs will be provided for the nineteen exercises and the completed folder may be used as a reference tool for later projects.
A demonstration will be given on how to paint such things as skies, trees and shadows using fabric paint.
